
Karen assists her clients to develop a financial roadmap that guides them through life’s many transitions. She empowers her clients to invest their money to achieve their future goals. With more than 15 years experience in the investment and financial planning industry, Karen’s unique approach helps clients align their financial goals with their values.
Trained as an environmental scientist, Karen received her M.S. from the Harvard School of Public Health and her B.S. from Rutgers University. Her deep-rooted environmental background spurred her interest in sustainable investing. Karen joined Domini Impact Investments, an investment firm offering sustainable mutual funds, and engaged with companies and other stakeholders on a variety of environmental, social, and governance issues such as climate change, sustainability reporting, human rights, and corporate governance. Working with environmental groups and other shareholders, she brokered an agreement between Kimberly-Clark and Greenpeace that committed the company to sustainably source its paper pulp in exchange for Greenpeace ending its boycott against the company.
Karen enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends, where she can be found on the trail or on the water. She is also an avid baker, and especially likes trying out new recipes for her family and friends.
Karen holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and is licensed for life, health, and variable insurance.
