Karen has been a Registered Representative offering financial services since 1996. In addition to securities licenses, she has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bucknell University and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University. She is designated as an Enrolled Agent (EA) and is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). The combination of tax, investment and business experience allows her to provide comprehensive advice. In 1998 Karen affiliated with previous broker dealer Avantax Investment ServicesSM, a broker-dealer focusing on helping tax professionals who provide investment services. In 2006 she founded KLG Financial Solutions and is currently associated with Cambridge Investment Research.
Karen is passionate about her family, her faith and the opportunity to help others. She serves on the Finance Committee of her church, the Board of The Hanover Conservancy, the Board of Tuko-Pamoja, and travels regularly to Kenya to share her business skills with marginalized women and young adults suffering from HIV/AIDS. Karen and her husband, Jim, cherish spending time with their son, daughter, son-in-law and grandson doing the many outdoor activities they all love!
